Introduction
MFS100 RD Service facility to capture biometric data of users/residents that will be used for
Authentication/EKYC using Aadhaar authentication/EKYC API.
About This Release
Features added in this release as below.
1. Fingerprint captures improvements.
2. Application security improvements.
Compatible Products
This product has been tested on the following platforms and below MFS100 Driver Setup.
Platform Supports
1) Windows 7 Service Pack 1(64 bit & 32 bit)
2) Windows 8 (64-bit & 32-bit)
3) Windows 10 (64-bit & 32-bit)
4) Windows 11 (64-bit)
Prerequisites
1) MFS100 Driver Setup 9.2.0.0
Note: MFS100 Driver setup will install the below setups as prerequisites.
A) VC++ 2008 Redist (x64 & x86)
B) VC++ 2013 Redist (x86)
C) VC++ 2015-2019 Redist (x86) or VC++ 2015-2022 Redist (x86)
D) Dot Net Framework 4.5.2 or higher
(Note: Its will be required for Windows 7 only. for Windows 8 or higher, Dot Net Framework 4.5.2 or higher
version will be included with OS. You may only require enabling features if not available)
Upgrades
There are two processes to upgrade MFS100 RD Service Version 1.0.6 to 1.0.8.
1) Manual Upgrade Process You can download MFS100 RD service setup version 1.0.8 & MFS100 Driver Setup Version 9.2.0.0
from the below download Portal.

2) Auto upgrade process from Management Server will have the facility to upgrade MFS100 RD Service 1.0.6 to 1.0.8 remotely over the air.
On every restart, RD Service will check the latest version available on Management Server, and Management Server will provide upgraded packages to RD Service. After the auto-upgrade process, if RD service is not able to start or not working, due to dot net
framework 4.5.2 or higher version not being installed in the system or due to other prerequisites like
VC++ redist 2013 or 2015. Follow the below steps.
For Windows 7, download the MFS100 driver setup version 9.2.0.0 from the above link.
For Windows 8 or higher, Dot Net Framework 4.5.2 or higher version will be included with OS. You may only require enabling features if not available.

Known Bugs and Limitations
6.1 General Note
MFS100 RD service setup version 1.0.8 having dependency of Dot Net Framework 4.5 or higher,
VC++ 2013 redist and VC++ 2015-2019 or VC++ 2015-2012 redist, so its recommendation to Install
MFS100 Driver Setup 9.2.0.0 or higher.
